Klopp calls up Yunus Malli to Germany squad
Germany's head coach Jürgen Klopp has announced an extended squad in preparation for the upcoming UEFA Nations League matches during the international break, which includes Eintracht Frankfurt forward Younes Bentaleb.
The expanded squad includes 44 players, divided into two groups of 22 each. Ben Taleb appears in the first group, earning his first opportunity to represent the Germany national team after his performances with Eintracht Frankfurt since the start of the season.
Germany are set to face the Netherlands and Greece in Group A, while Group B features Serbia and Greece, according to the schedule announced by Klopp.
Younes Ben Taleb's call-up comes as he also has the option to represent the Morocco national team, due to his Moroccan roots. However, his inclusion in the Germany squad opens the door for him to make his international debut in the German national team jersey.
Eintracht Frankfurt's striker hopes to seize the opportunity he has been given after impressing with his team at the start of the season, while the Moroccan public awaits the player's fate on the international stage.
Ben Taleb has a chance to represent Germany.
