Manchester City Begins Talks to Sign Palmeiras Talent

Manchester City has begun negotiations with Brazilian club Palmeiras to sign young winger Alan Elias during the current summer transfer window.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Allan, 22, is one of Manchester City's key targets as the club looks to strengthen its squad. However, Palmeiras remains firm in its stance, insisting that the player is not for sale this summer.

Sources within the Brazilian club have indicated that Alan's contract includes a release clause valued at €100 million, which could pose a hurdle in finalizing the transfer.

The Brazilian winger joined Palmeiras' first team in 2025, playing 48 matches in the Brazilian league, where he scored 6 goals and provided 5 assists. He has also netted 6 goals across all competitions this year.

Manchester City's interest in Allan comes amid the changes the team is experiencing this summer, following the departures of Rodri to Barcelona and Bernardo Silva to Real Madrid, along with Tijani Reijnders' transfer to Al-Qadisiyah in Saudi Arabia.
