Senegalese forward Nicolas Jackson of Chelsea has entered Aston Villa's radar, as the club begins exploring options to strengthen their attack in anticipation of Ollie Watkins' departure during the current transfer window.

Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has reported that Aston Villa has begun exploring its options for a striker in recent hours, placing Jackson among the names the English club may pursue if Watkins leaves.

Meanwhile, Napoli has made contact with Jackson as the Italian club seeks a new striker alongside Rasmus Hojlund, following Romelu Lukaku's departure. The Chelsea forward is among several options being considered by Napoli, alongside Gabriel Jesus.

Napoli needs to complete some sales first before moving to secure a deal for a forward. Among the players likely to leave are Noa Lang and Lorenzo Lucca.

Jackson is 25 years old and represented Senegal in the 2026 World Cup, where he played four matches and provided one assist. Last season, he played on loan at Bayern Munich from Chelsea, scoring 11 goals and assisting 4 in 34 appearances across all competitions.
