Chelsea and Manchester City monitor Club Brugge forward
Chelsea and Manchester City are preparing to keep an eye on German forward Nicolò Tresoldi, who plays for Club Brugge, during their match against Sint-Truidense VV on Sunday, as part of their evaluation of attacking options, according to TEAMtalk.
The report clarified that Nicolò Tresoldi has attracted the interest of several top European clubs, as Chelsea are considering how to benefit from his potential, while Manchester City are monitoring him as part of their long-term plan to strengthen the striker position.
Chelsea's interest comes after their loss to Tottenham Hotspur, in a match where their top scorer João Pedro was absent. There are also doubts about the ability of Dutch striker Emanuel Emegha, who is nearing a return, to provide the necessary contribution, prompting the club to explore new attacking options.
In contrast, Manchester City are evaluating their options in anticipation of a potential future departure of Erling Haaland, with no indications that the Norwegian striker is close to leaving.
The same source indicated that Club Brugge do not wish to sell Nicolò Tresoldi, which may complicate the task for clubs interested in signing him, despite their continued monitoring of his development.
