Official: Real Madrid Announces Bernardo Silva Signing
Real Madrid held the presentation ceremony for their new player Bernardo Silva at the Real Madrid Sports City on Wednesday evening, following the Portuguese star's arrival during the summer transfer window.
According to the club's official website, Bernardo Silva was welcomed by club president Florentino Pérez, where the two met in the boardroom before the Portuguese midfielder officially signed his contract with Real Madrid.
Bernardo Silva's contract with Real Madrid extends for two seasons, until June 30, 2028, after joining the team on a free transfer from Manchester City following the end of his contract with the English club.
Following the signing of contracts, the player received a miniature version of the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, along with a watch and a Real Madrid jersey bearing his name and the number 20.
The presentation ceremony was graced by the presence of Real Madrid's honorary president, José Martínez "Perry".
Bernardo Silva begins a new chapter in his football career after years spent at Manchester City, joining Real Madrid to take on a new challenge with the royal club.
