Real Madrid secures contract renewal for Arda Güler

Real Madrid have taken a new step in the Arda Güler file, reaching an agreement with the Turkish midfielder to extend his contract until 2031, adding two seasons to the previous deal that was set to expire in 2029.

According to AS, the agreement comes after negotiations that began in September, amid the significant development of Güler's role within the team, as he has become one of the important elements in José Mourinho's plans this season, starting five matches as a starter so far.

The agreement includes not only an extension of the contract duration but also a salary increase for the player, in a move that reflects the status he has now within Real Madrid, having transformed from a young talent who joined the club at the age of 18 into a key player in the current team project.

Güler had impressive numbers last season, participating in 51 matches, scoring 6 goals and providing 14 assists, while continuing to influence at the start of the current season, confirming his rapid development since arriving in the Spanish capital.

The renewal also confirms Real Madrid's trust in Güler's ability to develop in the future, especially as the club sees the possibility of him becoming a more versatile player in midfield. Ancelotti, Xabi Alonso, Arbeloa, and Mourinho have praised his talent and potential.

With this agreement, Real Madrid secures the future of one of its brightest young talents until 2031, in a move that confirms that Güler has become an essential part of the club's plans for the future, and is not just a promising player project.
