Vinicius Junior has struggled to regain his best form during the international break with Brazil, continuing to deliver performances below expectations. This comes at a time when José Mourinho is required to work on bringing out the best in him ahead of upcoming challenges, most notably the Clasico.

According to "Marca", Vinicius Junior finished his three matches with Brazil with just one goal, despite his continuous attempts and the national team's reliance on the position he occupies. However, he once again lacked the necessary precision in the final touch and in front of goal.

Carlo Ancelotti, Brazil's coach, has pointed out Vinicius Junior's dip in form ahead of the three matches, saying: "He is not at his best moments."

Despite this, Ancelotti has maintained his confidence in Real Madrid's star, having started him in all three matches, where he played for 65 minutes in the first match, 85 minutes in the second, while he played one half in the third encounter.

The newspaper added that Mourinho faces the task of restoring the best version of Vinicius Junior, especially since his contract renewal with Real Madrid has not yet been accompanied by the strong performances expected from him.

Vinicius Junior has played 8 matches for Real Madrid this season, scoring one goal and providing two assists. His goal came against Real Sociedad at their stadium in the second round of the league, with his goal contribution rate exceeding 600 minutes per goal.

All eyes are on Mourinho to see if he can bring Vinicius Junior back to his usual level, especially with strong matches approaching that may require the best version of the Brazilian winger, including the Clasico.
