Real Madrid return to training ahead of Villarreal clash

Real Madrid returned to training this morning, Monday, after the weekend break that players in the Spanish capital enjoyed during the international break, in preparation for their upcoming match against Villarreal.

According to "Mundo Deportivo", Real Madrid players resumed training at 11:30 AM, while the coaching staff awaits the status of some international players who have completed their commitments with their national teams.

Attention is particularly focused on the condition of the injured trio of Valverde, Konaté, and Kylian Mbappé, to see if they will join the group training or participate in part of it.

The participation of the trio in training will be an important indicator of their ability to catch up for the upcoming match against Villarreal, scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 10 at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Real Madrid prepare to resume competitions after the break, having ended their last matches with a loss to Atlético in the capital derby, leaving them six points behind FC Barcelona.
