Real Madrid Prepares to Face Espanyol in La Liga

Real Madrid has begun preparations for their upcoming match against Espanyol, as the team returned to training this morning, Tuesday, at Valdebebas, following a day off for the players on Monday.

Real Madrid is preparing to play their first official match of the season against Espanyol on Saturday, August 22, in Barcelona, as part of the second round of La Liga, at 10:30 PM Egyptian time.

The official website of Real Madrid reported that players who participated for longer periods in the recent match against Schalke underwent special training sessions, while the rest of the team conducted regular training, starting with exercises in the gym.

The site added that a group of players continued ball work alongside physical training without the ball, while another group focused on pressing, organization, and building play. The training session concluded with several matches that showcased the implementation of various tactical ideas and changes.

Real Madrid's training session saw the return of Aurélien Tchouaméni, who has recovered from the discomfort that kept him out of training. He participated normally with his teammates, making him ready, barring any surprises, to play against Espanyol.

Meanwhile, Endrick continues special training to avoid injuries, while Asensio, Thiago, Mendy, and Militao have been training inside the club's facilities, alongside individual work on the pitch as part of their recovery programs.
