The uncertainty surrounding Algerian international Hicham Boudaoui's future with Nice continues, just a week before the start of the French league and with the summer transfer window closing in France. The midfielder's absence from his team's preparations for the new season has raised further questions.

Bodawi was excluded from Nice's plans in their latest friendly, where the French team drew 0-0 against Hull City, two days ago, in the final preparations for the new season. According to the specialized site "Nice Matin," the Algerian player did not travel with the team to England, despite not suffering from any injury.

The absence raises more questions about the situation of the 26-year-old, especially since he did not participate in any of the five friendly matches Nice played during the preparation period. This comes as the team prepares to kick off their Ligue 1 campaign by hosting Lorient next Saturday in the opening round.

The source revealed that Nice's management has included Boudawi on the list of players available for departure during the summer transfer window. However, the player has not received any official offers so far, despite reports linking his future to several clubs.

The name of the Atletico Parana academy graduate has recently been linked with a move to Villarreal. However, the deal has not progressed beyond inquiries about the player's situation, with no official agreement between the parties.

Galatasaray has also entered the fray for Boudawi's services, but negotiations between the two clubs did not succeed, leaving the player's future hanging in the balance just weeks before the transfer window closes.

Boudaoui is under contract with Nice until the summer of 2027, and the French club's management is eager to settle his future during the current transfer window, in order to avoid losing him for free next summer, while also aiming to boost the team's finances through his sale.

Nice's management is seeking a fee between €12 and €15 million for the release of their Algerian midfielder, as they await developments regarding his next destination.
