Official: Crystal Palace Signs Anan Khalaili
Crystal Palace has officially announced the signing of winger Anan Khlaili from Belgian club Union Saint-Gilloise, in a deal worth around £21 million, with the player signing a long-term contract.
Khalaili, 21 years old, has undergone medical tests before completing his transfer to the English club, becoming the latest signing for Palace during the current summer transfer window.
The player is adept at playing multiple positions on the right flank, whether as a winger, full-back, or wing-back. Last season, he experienced the UEFA Champions League with Union Saint-Gilloise, scoring 3 goals in the competition.
Khalaili's transfer to Crystal Palace is the most expensive deal in the history of a player from the entity, and it represents his first experience in the Premier League, after contributing to Union Saint-Gilloise's success in winning the Belgian league title and the Belgian Cup.
