Sporting Braga Set to Sign Barcelona Player

Tommy Marquez's future at Barcelona is nearing a resolution, as Sporting Braga of Portugal expresses interest in acquiring the La Masia academy midfielder during the current transfer window.

According to Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo," Sporting Braga is working to complete the deal for Marquez, noting that the operation Barcelona is aiming to finalize will be through a permanent sale of the player.

Spanish media previously indicated that the Portuguese club is one of the potential options for Marquez, alongside Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund.

During the pre-season preparations for the new season under Hans Flick, the Spanish player participated for only 28 minutes in Barcelona's second match in the Udine triangle against Udinese, which ended in a 1-0 defeat for the Catalan team.

Marc Marquez made two appearances for Barcelona's first team last season, and he may leave the club to join Sporting Braga, which features several Spanish players and is managed by Spaniard Carlo Vicente.
