Flick approaches one million followers on Instagram in less than 24 hours

Hans Flick, the head coach of FC Barcelona, has made a remarkable start on Instagram, surpassing 800,000 followers on his official verified account in less than 24 hours since its launch, approaching the 900,000 follower mark.

Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" reported that the German coach limited his first appearance to a single photo and two stories, but he garnered wide attention from FC Barcelona fans, with his first post receiving more than a million likes.

Flick sent his first message to the Catalan fans, saying: "Hello Barcelona fans, I am very happy to share some moments with you from my daily life in Barcelona, thank you very much for your support, long live Barcelona."

Just one hour after launching his official account, the German coach reached 283,000 followers, before surpassing 800,000 in the following hours.

One of his first two stories also carried a humanitarian message, as he expressed his condolences to the families of the victims of the tragic train accident in Toledo, wishing a speedy and complete recovery for the injured.

The Spanish newspaper noted that Flick has begun to follow only 27 accounts, which include the official account of FC Barcelona and the accounts of the 26 players listed in the team.
