Nordsjælland's Bid for Shobir Declined

Sports analyst Mahmoud Shawqi has confirmed that the circulating Danish offer for Al Ahly goalkeeper Mustafa Shobeir has ended and is no longer valid at this time, denying any ongoing negotiations regarding this matter.

Shawky reported via his YouTube channel that Al Ahly had indeed received an offer from Danish club FC Nordsjælland before the World Cup. He added that the deal was quickly rejected by both parties due to its lack of financial viability, as the offered amount was set at half a million euros, which the club deemed unworthy of the goalkeeper's status or the prestige of the Red Castle.

Mustafa Shobeir currently has no official offers to leave, as Al Ahly prepares to extend his contract. The club is set to open discussions in the coming days, in appreciation of the impressive performances he has delivered with the team.

Shawky indicated that Al Ahly's management is taking steps to secure the future of their goalkeeper, as a new contract is being prepared that will extend for four additional seasons alongside the remaining year, tying him to the club for the next five years. The offer includes a financial package that places him among the top tier with the team's stars, in addition to lucrative incentives and bonuses, as well as special marketing privileges through the club's football company.
