Emad Meteb criticises Al Ahly's performance against Modern Sport

Former Al Ahly FC star Emad Meteb has criticized the performance of the Red Devils in their match against Modern Sport, despite securing a victory by one goal to nil on Thursday evening.

Al Ahly FC defeated Modern Sport with a narrow 1-0 victory in their match on Thursday evening at Cairo International Stadium, as part of the eighth round of the Egyptian League.

Emad Meteb stated during television remarks that Al Ahly FC is achieving victories without delivering the expected performance, pointing out the absence of a clear playing system within the team.

"Al Ahly are winning without performance and without technical work; there is no playing system for Al Ahly," he added, referring to his reservations about the level the team is presenting, despite continuing to achieve positive results.

The final minutes of the match between Al Ahly FC and Modern Sport saw a difficult test for the Reds, as the referee awarded a penalty to Modern Sport in the 85th minute. However, Mostafa Shobair successfully saved Ali Fawzi's shot, keeping his team in the lead until the final whistle.
