The management of Al Ittihad Alexandria has not opened any negotiations with the South African star Percy Tau up to this moment, nor has it made any official request to sign him, confirming that the matter has only involved one of the player agents offering Tau's services to the club officials.

Khaled El Ghandour has stated that the chances of Percy Tau transferring to Al Ittihad Alexandria currently do not exceed 40%, explaining that the resolution of the deal primarily depends on the position of Hamza El Gamal, the team's coach, who has the final decision regarding the team's need for the player's services and whether to approve his signing.
