Zamalek Continues Legal Action Against Zizo

Zamalek's management has confirmed that it will continue to take the necessary legal measures to ensure the recovery of all financial dues owed to the club by former player Ahmed Sayed 'Zizo'.

The Players Affairs Committee of the Football Association has decided to dismiss the complaint of Ahmed Sayed 'Zizo', the current Al Ahly player, against Zamalek. This decisive decision came after a thorough and detailed review of all documents and files submitted by both parties, marking the end of this administrative dispute with the decision to dismiss.

Zizo has filed a complaint with the Egyptian Football Association demanding his overdue financial entitlements from Zamalek, following the end of his relationship with the club. Additionally, the White Knights have submitted a complaint against Zizo to the Football Association due to his absence from team training during his final period at the White Castle.

Zamalek stated in an official announcement: "Today, Wednesday, the club received a letter from the Player Affairs Committee of the Egyptian Football Association, indicating that the complaint filed against the club by Ahmed Mostafa 'Zizo', a former player of the team, has been dismissed. He was demanding 82 million Egyptian pounds without justification."

He added: "The decision to dismiss the complaint vindicates the White Castle and confirms that Zamalek dealt with this matter within the legal framework, and through valid documents that prove its position since day one, especially since the club submitted to the Player Affairs Committee all the papers and documents that confirm the player received all his dues up to his last day with the club, including the bonus for winning the Egypt Cup for the 2024-2025 season."

Zamalek stated, "The club confirms that regarding its complaint demanding its dues related to advertising revenues and the television appearance rights of the player during his contract with the club, it will continue to take all necessary civil and criminal legal actions to ensure it receives its financial entitlements resulting from the player's television appearances and the advertising materials he has filmed."

In a statement, the Zamalek board, led by Hussein Labib, expressed its sincere thanks and appreciation to Kamel Shaib, the club's legal advisor, and all members of his office, as well as the legal sector headed by Mohamed Anani, and legal managers Sayed Mustafa, Osama Abdullah, and Tarek Abdel Moneim, for their professional efforts in managing this case, which resulted in a decision in favor of the club.
