Zamalek Management Nears Resolution on Ibrahim Ndiaye's Dues
Zamalek's management is on the verge of closing the chapter on the financial entitlements of Senegalese player Ibrahima Nday. In recent days, there have been intensive communications and negotiations between the club officials, the player, and his agent to reach a final settlement on the matter, ensuring the lifting of the registration ban on the team.
According to Al-Ahram, negotiations have led to significant progress after Senegalese Ibrahim Ndiaye agreed to forgo part of his overdue payments, provided he receives the remaining amount in one lump sum. Zamalek's management is currently studying this proposal, given the player's total debt exceeds $1.7 million.
The portal reported that Zamalek had previously made an offer to pay part of the dues immediately, with the remaining amount to be paid in three installments. However, the player rejected this proposal, prompting both parties to continue negotiations to reach a new agreement.
Zamalek's management is seeking to persuade Ibrahim Ndiaye to arrange his dues in two installments, with the first payment made upon signing the settlement and the second later with official guarantees. Additionally, they are preparing an alternative scenario to ensure the full amount is paid in one go if the installment plan fails, aiming to resolve the issue and lift the registration ban completely before the new season begins.
