Milan Confirms Stance on Tomori Sale
AC Milan has clarified its position regarding the future of English defender Fikayo Tomori, deciding to put him up for sale during the summer transfer window after he fell out of favor with new head coach Ruben Amorim.
According to 'Football Italia', Tomori's departure has become the most likely option, with only one year remaining on his contract, which runs until June 2027.
The report adds that Milan's management has set the player's value between €15 million and €20 million, aiming to recoup part of the €36 million the club paid to Chelsea for his signing in 2021.
The report also indicates that Coventry City inquired about the possibility of signing Tomori, taking advantage of their promotion to the Premier League, but the English defender declined the move.
Tomori believes that joining Coventry City does not align with his ambitions at this stage, despite the opportunity to work again with Frank Lampard.
The report confirms that the player prefers to wait for more attractive offers, while Milan continues to search for a club that meets their financial demands to complete the sale during the summer transfer window.
