Fulham make late move for Fikayo Tomori
Sport Witness has revealed that Fulham have made a late offer to sign English defender Fikayo Tomori from AC Milan, and the player is considering the possibility of a move on deadline day.
This comes as Fikayo Tomori has fallen out of favor in AC Milan's project, with manager Ruben Amorim not seeing him as suitable for his style of play, while the Italian club aims to offload the player and create financial space.
Fikayo Tomori had previously rejected a move to Coventry City, while discussions with Aston Villa did not develop into a formal offer, before Fulham, under the management of Álvaro Arbeloa, appeared in the final hours of the transfer window.
According to the report, AC Milan's stance on the player's departure has not changed, while the details of Fulham's offer have not yet been disclosed. However, Tomori's lack of a firm rejection of the deal leaves the door open for its completion today.
