Milan officially announces the signing of Omari Hutchinson
AC Milan have officially signed English player Omari Elijah Hutchinson on loan from Nottingham Forest until June 30, 2027, with an option to buy the player's contract outright.
Hutchinson will wear the number 20 shirt with AC Milan, marking a new step in his career after shining on English pitches in recent years.
Omari Hutchinson was born in Redhill, England on October 30, 2003, and holds both English and Jamaican nationality. He began his career in the academies of Chelsea and Arsenal before signing his first professional contract with Arsenal in November 2020.
The player returned to Chelsea in the summer of 2022 and made his first-team debut in January 2023 against Manchester City in the Premier League.
During the 2023-2024 season, Omari Hutchinson moved to Ipswich Town on loan and played a prominent role in the team's rise to the Premier League after a 22-year absence, contributing 10 goals.
After the end of his loan period, Omari Hutchinson has permanently moved to Nottingham Forest in the summer of 2025. He played 41 matches with the team, scoring one goal.
The player is known for his ability to play as a left-wing forward and has international experience with England's youth teams. He was part of the England under-21 team that won the UEFA European Under-21 Championship in 2025 in Slovakia.
AC Milan hope Hutchinson will provide a strong attacking addition to the team, with the possibility of turning the deal into a permanent transfer if the club decides to activate the purchase clause.
