Brazilian midfielder Lucas Paquetá expressed concern in the Brazilian national team's locker room regarding the muscle injury sustained by Raphinha during the match against Haiti, which ended with Brazil winning 3-0, as part of the group stage of the 2026 World Cup.

Raphinha left the field in the 40th minute after suffering a muscle strain, exiting the match before the end of the first half.

Paqueta said in his statements: "We are concerned and hope it is nothing serious. We do not know the nature of the injury yet, and we are here to support him."

Paqueta added that the team's situation is a mix of relief after securing a win and a draw in the first round against Morocco, and concern over the injury of a key player before the knockout stages of the tournament.

In the match, the Brazilian team secured a 3-0 victory, with Matheus Cunha scoring twice in the 23rd and 36th minutes, before Vinicius Junior added the third goal in the 45+3 minute. This win placed the Brazilian team at the top of Group C on goal difference ahead of the Moroccan team.

Paqueta's statements also reflected his praise for the team's collective performance, saying: "The coaching staff knows the players' characteristics well, and there is an understanding between me and Bruno Guimaraes."
