Brazil turn the tables on Australia in friendlies

Brazil secured a thrilling 4-2 victory against Australia in a friendly match held today at the Suncorp Stadium. The encounter saw significant fluctuations in the scoreline and a concerning injury to star player Raphinha.

Brazil started the match strongly, taking the lead early through Vanderson in the 3rd minute, before Australia turned the tables by scoring two goals through Alessandro Circati and Connor Metcalfe in the 28th and 33rd minutes, giving the hosts a 2-1 lead.

Just before the end of the first half, Raphinha managed to bring Brazil back into the match by scoring the equaliser in the 45th minute+1 from a penalty. However, his joy was short-lived as he was substituted at half-time due to suffering from muscle discomfort in his right thigh.

In the second half, Brazil continued to press for a return to the lead, which was achieved in the 69th minute through Bruno, who found the net thanks to a setup from substitute Endrick.

With ten minutes remaining, Vinicius Junior settled the encounter in favor of Brazil, scoring the fourth goal from a penalty in the 80th minute to confirm the Seleção's victory by four goals to two.
