Vinicius reveals secret behind penalty against Australia

Vinicius Junior revealed the secret behind his penalty execution in Brazil's match against Australia, in the friendly match that ended with the Seleção winning four goals to two.

Vinicius Junior said after the match: "Bruno is our penalty taker when Raphinha is not available, and I thought he would want to take it, but he knows I need some confidence right now."

Carlo Ancelotti, the national team coach, said: "Bruno Guimarães had already scored in the match, and I thought Vinicius Junior deserved to score a goal as well."

The Real Madrid star successfully converted a penalty in the 80th minute, leaving his mark on Brazil's fourth goal and sealing his country's victory against Australia.

Raphinha had started the match and scored Brazil's equaliser from a penalty in the 45+1 minute, before leaving the pitch at half-time due to suffering from physical problems in his right thigh.

Vinicius Junior's comments come amid a noticeable decline in his form this season, both with Real Madrid and the Brazil national team.
