Thursday 18-06-2026
Liverpool Football Club has announced reaching an agreement to sign the Spanish forward Victor Munoz from Osasuna, following his successful medical examination. The deal is set to be finalized officially after obtaining the work permit and international clearance.

Munoz is currently participating with the Spanish national team in the 2026 World Cup and will join Liverpool after completing his international duties. He is the first signing made by the club following the appointment of coach Andoni Iraola as the team's manager.

Munoz is 22 years old, has played two matches with the Spanish national team, and scored a goal in his international debut against Serbia. He also had an impressive season with Osasuna, participating in 34 matches, scoring 7 goals, and providing 5 assists.

The official Liverpool website noted that Munoz transferred to Osasuna last summer from Real Madrid, becoming the team's second signing in preparation for the 2026/2027 season after Jeremy Jaquier.

Although the English club has not announced the duration of the player's contract, some press reports have indicated that Victor Munoz will be tied to a contract with Liverpool until 2032.
