Real Madrid plan a swap deal with Liverpool to sign Mac Allister
Real Madrid are planning to sign Alexis Mac Allister, a midfielder from Liverpool, in 2027 by offering three players to the English club to reduce the financial fee required to complete the deal.
TEAMtalk reported that the Spanish club is studying the inclusion of Alexander Arnold, Eduardo Camavinga, or Brahim Díaz in the deal, amid increasing interest in signing the Argentine player.
Alexis Mac Allister, 27, has been impressive this season, having scored four goals, but he is still waiting for Liverpool to decide on renewing his contract, which expires in the summer of 2028.
Liverpool are preparing to make an official offer to extend the player's contract, according to Winwin. However, journalist Sasha Tavolieri mentioned that he will not receive a new contract, which aligns with the player's previous statements regarding the club's inability to extend his contract at that time.
The website "El Intransigente" clarified that the idea of the swap deal is still under study and has not yet turned into an official offer, noting that Camavinga could be a direct replacement for Mac Allister in midfield, while Arnold is the standout name among the three players.
Mac Allister's contract renewal could reduce Real Madrid's interest, while selling him in 2027 may become an option for Liverpool if a new deal is not reached.
