Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya Announces New Deals
Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya Club officially announced the completion of one of its most important summer deals by signing striker Murad Mohammed from Al-Zawraa Club, in a move to enhance the attacking options for the Falcons before the start of the new season of the Iraqi Stars League.
The 29-year-old player has a rich record in the local league, having previously represented Al-Shorta, Al-Zawraa, Naft Al-Wasat, and Kahrabaa before settling with the Nawras.
With Al-Zawraa last season, Murad participated in 34 matches in all competitions, scoring 4 goals and assisting one.
Sources close to the negotiations revealed that Al-Talaba Club strongly entered the line to sign the striker, but Murad preferred to move to Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya and wear the Falcons' jersey, favoring the club's technical project and its fan base.
In the same context, the Falcons' management completed the signing of young defender Muslim Musa from Al-Mina'a Club. The player is considered one of the prominent names in Iraq's under-23 national team, known for his physical strength and good positioning.
With Sefana Al-Janoub last season, Muslim played most of the team's matches and scored only one goal, but his defensive impact was the most evident in a backline that suffered a lot from injuries.
In parallel with the new deals, Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya's management revealed its success in renewing the contracts of a group of key pillars who delivered outstanding performances last season.
At the forefront is the veteran midfielder Saad Abdul-Amir, who was one of the team's midfield pillars, alongside the defensive duo Ramadan Sadiq and Mustafa Walid, who formed a solid partnership in central defense.
The club also renewed contracts for the trio: goalkeeper Mohammed Saleh, in addition to Mohammed Jawad, and winger Mohammed Sami, as well as striker Al-Harith Hatim. The renewals were made to ensure the stability of the lineup and retain the cohesion that appeared in the team during the final stages of last season.
