Al Quwa Al Jawiya Secures Friendly Win Against Petrojet

Al Quwa Al Jawiya achieved a preliminary victory in their training camp in Egypt, defeating Petrojet 1-0 in the team's first friendly match as they prepare for the 2026-2027 Iraqi Premier League.

The Asyut Petroleum Stadium hosted the friendly match that kicked off at 6 PM Cairo time, marking the first test for "Al-Suqour" in the preparation program set by the coaching staff to enhance player readiness ahead of the season.

Air Force managed to secure the first half with a single goal scored by striker Haitham Al-Juwaini, who successfully converted a penalty to put his team ahead.

With the start of the second half, Tunisian coach Fathi Jebali made a complete substitution of the lineup, aiming to give as many players as possible the opportunity to showcase their skills and assess their physical and technical levels up close.

Mountains are looking to gauge the readiness of all players before entering official matches.

The training camp has seen the full arrival of the foreign professionals who have joined the team's training sessions in Egypt, participating in the training units as part of the plan to enhance team cohesion and improve the physical fitness levels.
