Al Quwa Al Jawiya Sign Defender Saad Al-Rousan
Al Quwa Al Jawiya has officially signed Jordanian international defender Saad Al-Rousan from Al-Hussein Irbid, aiming to strengthen their defense ahead of the new season of the Iraqi Premier League and Asian competitions.
The club's media office released an official statement saying:
"Al Quwa Al Jawiya Sports Club announces the official signing of international defender Saad Al-Rousan to represent the team in the upcoming season."
It added: "Saad is a player with significant international and local experience, possessing remarkable physical strength in the center-back position. The club management and coaching staff are fully confident that he will be a strong addition to the defense and will form a harmonious partnership with the team's defenders."
Saad Al-Rousan, a 29-year-old defender, has been a consistent name in the Jordanian national team in recent years.
He has had a notable international experience, having participated in one World Cup match with the national team, which gives him substantial experience in major matches.
At the club level, Al-Rousan has played for several local Jordanian teams before his last stop, including Ma'an, Al-Baqa'a, Al-Arabi, and Manshiyah, before moving to Al-Hussein Irbid.
Last season with Al-Hussein Irbid was the most prominent for the Jordanian defender, as he participated in 29 matches across various competitions, scoring two goals and providing one assist.
These numbers reflect his offensive character in set pieces and his ability to advance and support the attack despite his position as a center-back.
The signing of Al-Rousan is part of the coaching staff's plan to strengthen the defensive depth. The Falcons need a center-back who combines international experience and physical solidity, which Saad possesses.
