Al Quwa Al Jawiya Welcomes New Signing Thomas Andrade to Baghdad

Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya has announced the arrival of their new Argentine professional, Thomas Andrade, in the capital Baghdad early this Monday via Baghdad International Airport, in preparation for joining the team's training.

Andrade will join Al-Suqoor's squad in the ongoing training camp in Cairo after completing some procedures related to signing the contract and the official announcement.

Andrade is one of the names with continental experience, having previously represented major clubs including Argentine side River Plate, Brazilian club Atlético Mineiro, and English outfit Portsmouth, before embarking on his latest stint with Peruvian club Cajamarca.

The player operates in the midfield position, and the coaching staff at Al-Jaish is betting on him to provide solutions in playmaking and connecting the lines, as the club aims to compete for the Iraq Stars League title and make a strong showing in international competitions.

This transfer is part of Al Quwa Al Jawiya's management plan to strengthen the team with experienced foreign players before the start of the new season, as the coaching staff preferred to sign a midfielder with a record at major fan-favorite clubs.

Andrade is set to participate in training at the Cairo camp immediately after completing his contract matters, ensuring he is ready for the technical assessments before being officially included in the team's roster.
