Matheus Fernandes Wants to Move to Manchester United

Press reports have revealed that Portuguese midfielder Matheus Fernandes prefers to move to Manchester United during the current summer transfer window, amid ongoing negotiations between all parties to finalize the deal.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, negotiations between the player and Manchester United are progressing very positively, as Fernandes has clearly expressed his desire to wear the Red Devils' jersey in the upcoming season.

The report added that Manchester United's management has entered into negotiations with West Ham United, but they are unwilling to pay an excessive amount to complete the deal and are seeking to reach an agreement with suitable financial terms.

Romano indicated that West Ham is demanding £85 million to agree to sell the player, while Manchester United continues to work on reducing the asking price and completing the negotiations in a more flexible manner.

Matheus Fernandes is attracting interest from several top European clubs, most notably Real Madrid, Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal, and Newcastle United. However, the player currently leans towards having his next experience at Old Trafford.
