Yaya Touré Begins His Career as a Head Coach

The former Ivorian star Yaya Toure began his first experience as a head coach after taking charge of the Slovakian team Slovan Bratislava, marking a new step in his career.

The former Manchester City and Barcelona player decided to leave his position as an assistant coach for the Saudi national team to take on the challenge of being a head coach, a role he is assuming for the first time in his career.

Toure is 43 years old and has gained some coaching experience over the past few years, having also worked as part of the coaching staff at the Tottenham Hotspur Academy in England.

Toure is considered one of the most prominent midfielders of his generation, having won numerous titles with Barcelona and Manchester City, before moving into the world of coaching. He is now embarking on his first independent coaching experience with Slovan Bratislava.
