Al-Khubairi and Al-Harbi Reassure Green Fans Before the World Cup

The players of the Saudi national team have confirmed the readiness of "Al-Akhdar" to compete in the 2026 World Cup, amidst a state of focus and discipline within the camp held in Austin, USA.

Muteb Al-Harbi, a player for the national team, explained that all the players are working hard during the final stage of preparations, aiming to perform impressively against Uruguay in the opening match.

Al-Harbi emphasized that the team is striving for a strong start in the World Cup, noting that the first match will be important to give the national team a significant morale boost during their journey in the tournament.

For his part, Abdullah Al-Khubairi confirmed that the Greek coach Georgios Donis quickly succeeded in harmonizing with the players despite the short period since he took charge of the team.

Al-Khubairi said that Donis knows the players' abilities well, due to his previous experience following the Saudi league, which helped save time during the training camp.

The Saudi midfielder pointed out that each coach has their own philosophy, emphasizing that the players are currently focused on following Donis's instructions and preparing for the upcoming matches.

Al-Khubairi explained that the atmosphere inside the Green Falcons' camp is positive, and all the players feel a sense of responsibility and a desire to perform at their best during the World Cup.
