Donis emphasized that the fans are the "number 1 player" in the team's journey, noting that their support in the stands directly reflects on the players' performance on the field.

The Greek coach explained that the large audience presence gives the Saudi national team additional energy that helps them face the challenges of the world championship.

He emphasized that the coaching staff and players understand the magnitude of the responsibility placed upon them and are striving to present an honorable image befitting the name of Saudi football.

Denis's statements came during a public event organized by the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) in Austin, USA, to enhance communication with fans.

The Saudi national team continues its preparations to face Uruguay in the opening of its World Cup campaign, within a strong group that includes Spain and Cape Verde.

The players underwent a variety of training sessions, including recovery exercises for the main group and technical and tactical sessions for the other group at Q2 Stadium.

The Green team is scheduled to continue its preparations with a partially open training session for the media ahead of the anticipated match in the 2026 World Cup.
