The Saudi national football team organized an interactive meeting with its fans in Austin, USA, as part of the events accompanying the Green's training camp before the start of the 2026 World Cup.

The initiative came after the end of the open training session at Q2 Stadium, where a number of national team players met with fans in an enthusiastic atmosphere.

The event was attended by the national team captain Salem Al-Dawsari, alongside Mohammed Abu Al-Shamat, Saleh Al-Shehri, Nawaf Al-Aqidi, and Ali Majrashi, amidst great interaction from the fans.

The players made sure to sign jerseys, flags, and various cheering items, in addition to taking commemorative photos with the attendees.

This step is part of a program aimed at strengthening the relationship between the national team and its fans, and involving supporters in the World Cup atmosphere before the official competitions begin.

The Saudi Green team will begin its journey in the tournament by facing Uruguay early next Tuesday, followed by a match against Spain, and concluding the group stage against Cape Verde.

The 2026 World Cup will be jointly hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico, featuring for the first time the participation of 48 teams, running until July 19.
