Officially: Daniel Peretz Bids Farewell to Bayern Munich and Joins Southampton

Southampton Club has finalized the signing of goalkeeper Daniel Peretz permanently from Bayern Munich, after reaching a full agreement between all parties regarding his permanent transfer to the English club.

According to recent reports, the deal's value is between 7.5 and 8 million euros, after Peretz succeeded in convincing Southampton officials during his loan period in the second half of the season, where he delivered strong performances that made the club keen on keeping him permanently.

The 25-year-old goalkeeper had moved to Southampton on loan in January 2026 from Bayern Munich, before establishing himself as one of the team's key elements, contributing to the club's journey last season.

German and English sources confirmed that the agreement between the two clubs has been fully completed, with only some simple administrative procedures remaining before the final official announcement from both parties. The good relationship between Peretz and the Southampton coach played an important role in the player's decision to continue with the English club.

Peretz's transfer marks the end of his journey with Bayern Munich, which he joined in the summer of 2023 from Maccabi Tel Aviv, but he did not get regular playing opportunities due to strong competition for the goalkeeper position. Therefore, he preferred to embark on a new experience that guarantees him regular participation.
