Harry Kane and Bayern Munich reach preliminary agreement on contract renewal

Bayern Munich have reached a preliminary agreement with their English striker Harry Kane to renew his contract, bringing the England captain closer to continuing his journey with the Bavarian club until 2029, according to reports from "Sky Sports".

According to the report, only a few final details remain before the agreement is officially completed, as Kane is keen to continue in the Bundesliga, while neither party is concerned about the timing of signing the new contract.

Harry Kane recently stated in an interview with the Bundesliga: "I am happy here. I think it won't be long before there is some sort of announcement."

Harry Kane joined Bayern Munich in the summer of 2023 from Tottenham, and since then he has scored 152 goals in 154 matches with the Bavarian club, making him one of the top scorers in the team's history in a short period.

Harry Kane's current contract with Bayern Munich runs until June 30, 2027. The English forward posted exceptional numbers last season, scoring 73 goals for both club and country, and he has already netted 10 goals this season with Bayern and the England national team.
