Neves: We Were the Team That Wanted to Play, and We Made History with Paris Saint-Germain

The Portuguese João Neves expressed his great happiness after Paris Saint-Germain won the UEFA Champions League title by defeating Arsenal in a penalty shootout (4-3), following a 1-1 draw in regular and extra time.

Neves said in his statements after the match: "The feeling is amazing; this is the second time I've won the Champions League. But what makes me happier than the victory is playing with this kind of teammates, this coaching staff, and management. Coming here was the best decision I've made in my life; I love everything here."

He added, "We deserved this title today because Paris Saint-Germain was the only team that truly wanted to play."

He continued: "This season was different; it was more challenging and physically demanding. We were already the champions of Europe, and we successfully defended our title. We are making history with Paris Saint-Germain."

He concluded his remarks by saying, "Now I just want to enjoy being with my teammates."
