USM Alger was crowned the Algerian Cup champion today, Thursday, after defeating its rival CR Belouizdad with a score of (2-1) in the final match held at Nelson Mandela Stadium in Baraki, amidst an enthusiastic crowd atmosphere.

USM Alger entered the match strongly, with Dramane Kamaté successfully opening the scoring early in the 22nd minute, capitalizing on an opportunity inside the penalty area to give his team the lead.

The team continued its offensive pressure during the first half, allowing Ahmed Khaldi to reinforce the score with a second goal in the 43rd minute after an organized attack, ending the first half with a well-deserved lead (2-0).
