Mohamed Nagy Gedo, the general coach of Pyramids FC, confirmed that Ibrahim Adel, the player for Denmark's Nordsjælland, refused to return to the Sky Blues last January, and the player's desire is to continue in Europe.

In statements on "MBC Masr" channel, Gedo spoke about the possibility of Ibrahim Adel joining Al Ahly: "What I know well is that Ibrahim Adel will continue in Europe."

He added: "Pyramids had requested Ibrahim Adel to return last January, but he refused because he wanted to continue his professional career in Europe."

And he continued: "Ibrahim Adel needs to think about his future and choose a club where he can play regularly, because it doesn't make sense to join a team that already includes Trezeguet, Bencharki, Hussein El Shahat, and Taher."

He concluded: "We wish Ibrahim Adel success and hope he continues his professional journey."
