Ahmed Sulaiman angers Al Ahly fans

Zamalek board member Ahmed Sulaiman stated that Pyramids FC's victory over Al Ahly FC benefits his team, expressing his hopes for the sky-blue team's win to enhance the White Castle's chances in the Egyptian League title race.

Ahmed Sulaiman, during his statements on the "Al Laeeb" program broadcast on "MBC Masr", said that the match between Al Ahly FC and Pyramids FC will be a win for Zamalek SC regardless of the result. He was then asked by the media figure Moheeb Abdel-Hady a direct question about which team he hopes will win, to which he replied: "Pyramids FC wins."

Moehib Abdel Hadi expressed his surprise at this choice, noting that Pyramids FC's struggles could help Zamalek SC numerically to close the gap with the top spot. However, Ahmed Sulaiman justified his position by stating that Al Ahly FC will remain the rival and the strongest contender for the title until the final moments of the competition.

A member of Zamalek SC's board stated that the fans of the white castle played an influential role in securing points during the last season, explaining that their strong presence in the last seven matches provided the players with a strong boost.

Al Ahly FC will face Pyramids FC on Monday, November 23, in the ninth round of the Egyptian League.
