Juventus Interest Will Not Affect Lewandowski's Plan
Tuesday 31-03-2026
The Spanish newspaper 'Mundo Deportivo' reported that the Polish striker Robert Lewandowski is currently focused on securing his participation in the third World Cup with his national team, but he has not yet decided his future after the end of the summer.

Despite the interest from the Italian club Juventus, Lewandowski's plans have not changed, and he prefers to wait until the end of April before making any decision regarding his final professional contract.

The Catalan club, as stated by President Joan Laporta, indicates its desire to retain Lewandowski's services for an additional season, with a salary adjustment in line with his age of 38 and his new role within the team. The player and his family are happy residing in Barcelona and see themselves there after retirement, but they are still considering all possibilities before making a final decision.

The player's representative, Pini Zahavi, is scheduled to arrive in Barcelona next week to meet with Lewa and discuss all related details before providing any official response. Meanwhile, Lewa is focused on the remaining matches in the Spanish league and European competitions, notably against Atletico Madrid, before finalizing his future.

In addition to Barcelona and Juventus, AC Milan has emerged as a potential contender to sign the player, while the American team Chicago Fire has officially expressed interest during a meeting attended by Zahavi in Barcelona. Offers have also arrived from Saudi Arabia, but they are not currently considered an option for the player.

Lewandowski continues to shine with Barcelona, having scored 117 goals since joining, including 16 goals in 37 matches this season at a rate of one goal every 122 minutes, which is close to his first season with the team. Last season, he broke all records by scoring 42 goals in 52 matches, at a rate of one goal every 94 minutes, reflecting his significant role in the Catalan attack.
