According to reports from the Catalan newspaper 'Sport', the club and coach Hans Flick see no justification for subjecting players to exhausting trips and such crowded schedules, especially with only two months left until the end of the season, and two and a half months until the start of the World Cup.

The report added that the discontent is compounded by considering Raphinha's history with injuries this season, as well as the long journey to the United States, in addition to the time difference, and his inclusion in non-essential friendly matches, which the club considered a major risk affecting the player.

It seems that Barcelona and Flick will look for alternative solutions to compensate for Raphinha's absence in the upcoming matches, with concerns about the impact of losing one of the team's most important players on the performance of the pressing and attacking system adopted by the German coach.

Barcelona had announced in an official statement that the Brazilian star would be absent from the team for 5 weeks.
