Ahmed Yahya spoke about the behind-the-scenes details of Imam Ashour's transfer to Al Ahly club, denying the rumors that his overseas experience was merely a preliminary step for returning to the Egyptian league.

Imam Ashour joined Al Ahly in the summer of 2023, coming from FC Midtjylland, with a contract extending until June 2028.

The player's agent confirmed in a television statement that the talk about a "bridge" in the deal is illogical, explaining that the high transfer value of the player does not align with this notion, noting that the deal amounted to about 3 million dollars.

He added that the player was available upon his return from professional play, and if Zamalek Club wanted to bring him back, they could have done so, especially since he trained at the club during his return period without any official negotiations.

He explained that the player's experience in Denmark was not easy, despite his commitment, as he faced difficulties in adapting due to the nature of the environment and weather, which affected his continuation there.

The player's agent concluded his statements by emphasizing that Imam Ashour's transfer to Al Ahly happened naturally, without any prior arrangements as has been suggested recently.
