Barcelona Opens the Door for Their Forward's Departure
Wednesday 25-03-2026
ESPN has revealed that Barcelona is inclined to keep Polish striker Robert Lewandowski, rather than continuing with Spaniard Ferran Torres, as part of the club's plans to reorganize their attack during the upcoming summer transfer window.

According to the report, Barcelona's management will listen to offers for Ferran Torres this summer, opening the door to the possibility of his departure if a suitable offer arrives, especially given the interest from several clubs in signing him.

On the other hand, Lewandowski's contract with the Catalan club ends at the end of the current season. However, there is a tendency within Barcelona to renew his contract for an additional season, in appreciation of his role and experience within the team.

Despite the club's desire to retain the Polish striker, Barcelona is simultaneously working on signing a new forward during the summer to strengthen their attacking line.

Among the names on the club's table are the Argentine Julian Alvarez, the Atletico Madrid striker, and the Egyptian star Omar Marmoush, the Manchester City star.
