Haaland's Agent Closes the Door on Barcelona
Rafaela Pimenta, the agent of Norwegian star Erling Haaland, downplayed the accuracy of reports suggesting the possibility of the player transferring to Barcelona in the near future, coinciding with discussions about the elections within the Catalan club.
The player's agent stated in a press release: "We have a lot of respect and appreciation for FC Barcelona, but the truth is that there has been no communication whatsoever, either with Erling Haaland or with the club's management, regarding any potential transfer targets."
She added, "The player renewed his contract a few months ago, and he is very happy with Manchester City."
She concluded: "Things are going great for him at City, and there is no reason to talk about his transfer as long as everything is going well."
Manchester City had renewed the contract of the Norwegian striker until the summer of 2034, making it difficult for him to leave the team in the coming years unless the player decides to depart.
