The Saudi Arabian Football Federation has begun studying alternative arrangements for the Saudi national team's training camp scheduled for this March, in preparation for upcoming international commitments.

The "Green" camp was scheduled to be held in the Qatari capital, Doha, from March 22 to 31, as part of the Qatar Football Festival activities.

The preparatory program includes playing two friendly matches against the national teams of Egypt and Serbia on the 26th and 30th of the same month, in preparation for the 2026 World Cup finals.

The Saudi Federation management is considering several new options in case the training camp in Qatar cannot be held, including organizing it within the city of Jeddah and hosting the two friendly matches there.

The option of holding the camp in one of the European countries remains on the table, while maintaining the scheduled dates for the matches against Egypt and Serbia as part of the team's preparation program.

The team officials are striving to choose the most suitable solution to ensure ideal preparation for the team under the leadership of French coach Hervé Renard before the 2026 World Cup.

Meanwhile, the organizers of the Qatar Football Festival have not yet made a final decision regarding the fate of the matches scheduled for the end of this month.

The organizing bodies are monitoring regional developments in the coming days, hoping to hold the football event as previously scheduled.
