Hassan said on Facebook: "A source in Al Ahly stated that Captain Mahmoud El Khatib requested an urgent meeting with Torab after the loss against Tala'ea El Gaish and before Al Ahly's trip to Tunisia to face Esperance in the Champions League."
With this loss, Al Ahly's tally froze at 40 points, placing them in third position in the league standings.
