Monday 09-03-2026
Officials of Al Ahly of Egypt have decided to release several players from the first football team at the end of the current season, either for technical reasons or because their contracts with the Red Castle are expiring.

According to "Al-Watan" newspaper, the trio Yelsin Kamwish, Marwan Osman, and Ahmed Ramadan Beckham will leave Al-Ahly after the end of the current season, following the conclusion of their loan period with the team.

The contracts of the trio Hussein El Shahat, Ahmed Nabil Kouka, and Aliou Dieng will expire at the end of the season, and their final status has not been decided yet.

Reports indicated that Al-Ahly's management is also considering terminating Karim Fouad's contract due to the numerous injuries he has sustained recently, the latest being an anterior cruciate ligament sprain he suffered against Al-Mokawloon Al-Arab.

In the same context, Mohamed Shoukry will not continue with the team next season for technical reasons, while the club's management is considering the departure of one of the goalkeepers, either Mohamed Siha or Hamza Alaa, in the upcoming period.
