The Catalan team currently holds second place with 58 points, and with a win, Barcelona will regain the lead and continue their impressive streak of staying at the top for ten consecutive rounds.

In addition to the battle for the top spot, Barcelona aims to compensate their fans and restore confidence after a heavy 4-0 defeat against Atletico Madrid in the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final, where all goals were conceded in the first half, making qualification for the final a very difficult task.
